This is five star gardening for sure! I was desperate for a good gardener as my garden had several bush stumps to remove! No one wanted the job, it was too hard others said. I phoned Terry and he very quickly organised a gardener, Robert, to come out two days after I called. Robert was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. Terry and his team have just completed work for me and I am extremely pleased with the result. It involved the redesign design of an unusually shaped large area which had to be leveled. Old pavers had to be taken up and relaid, new gardens and a clothes line area established and turf laid. All this had to be done with curved lines. They worked efficiently and finished the job quickly.

It depends on the species and how formal you want it. As a Sydney guide, fast growers like lilly pilly and photinia want two to three trims a year, moderate growers like murraya and viburnum once or twice, and a slow box hedge is often happy with one. Formal and topiary shapes need more frequent trims to hold their line. Little and often keeps a hedge denser and healthier than one hard cut a year.
Yes. Green waste removal is part of the job. We rake and bag the clippings and offcuts, blow down the paths and take the green waste away with us, so you are left with a tidy hedge and nothing to deal with. If it is a big renovation trim that produces a lot of material, we will factor the disposal into the fixed quote up front.
Yes. We trim tall or large hedges and privacy screens above head height using the right access equipment, rather than an unsafe stretch off a step ladder. Long boundary hedges and big screens are no problem, we just need a rough height and length, or a photo, to plan the safe approach and quote it properly.
For most Sydney hedges, the best time to cut is through the warmer growing season, from spring into early autumn, with lighter, more frequent trims to guide growth and hold the shape.
