What we do here
Our landscaping and garden services in Austral
Austral jobs usually run ground works first, then hard surfaces, then planting. Tell us what you want and we will set the sequence.
Sleeper, block and masonry walls to hold a graded block and create a level, usable terrace. On ground this compacted, proper drainage behind the wall is not optional, and every wall we build gets it.
More on our retaining walls
Entertaining areas, paths and driveways laid on a properly prepared base. Compacted clay moves if the base is skipped, so we prepare and compact correctly rather than laying straight onto the subgrade.
See how we approach paving
New lawn over decompacted, levelled and topped-up soil. On Austral blocks the ground preparation is most of the job, because turf rolled over construction fill is the commonest reason a new lawn dies.
How we lay new turf
Clearing a block of old growth, fill, rubble, soil and green waste. On larger rural-fringe blocks this is often a job in its own right before any garden work can start.
See our rubbish removal
Clearing beds, paths and open ground back to a clean finish, roots included. Paddock-edge blocks carry a heavy weed seed load, so a proper first clear matters more here than almost anywhere.
How we handle weeding
Mulch at a depth that holds moisture through a hot, exposed Western Sydney summer. On open Austral blocks with little shelter it does far more work than on a sheltered suburban garden.
What our mulching involves
Screens and boundary hedges cut to a clean line. On wide open blocks a hedge is often the only wind break and the only privacy, so we cut to keep it dense rather than thinning it out.
How we trim hedges
Canopies lifted off roofs, sheds and fences, and growth thinned where it is shading a garden that needs light. Remnant paddock trees often need their structure assessed before anything else.
See our pruning and trimming
Removing a tree that has outgrown its spot or is unsafe. The City of Liverpool controls removal and heavy pruning of many established trees, and we check and flag it at quoting stage.
